How Often Should You Exfoliate Your Skin?

Exfoliation is key to removing dead skin cells and promoting cell renewal. For the face, it’s recommended to exfoliate 2-3 times a week, depending on your skin type. For the body, 1-2 times a week is sufficient.

  • Listen to Your Skin: If your skin feels irritated, tight, or dry, you might be exfoliating too often. Reduce the frequency and use a more gentle exfoliator.

  • Choose the Right Exfoliant: For the face, opt for mild, natural exfoliants like fruit enzymes or raw honey. For the body, you can use scrubs with sugar, salt, or ground coffee.

  • Moisturize Afterwards: Always follow up with a moisturizer to hydrate and soothe your skin after exfoliation.
